资源简介:
Supplementary materials:
- Microbiota data:
Dataset containing the relative abundances of bacterial genera identified through 16S rRNA sequencing from faecal samples. This file includes samples from the FACSA cohort (university students) and the PAVILA cohort (institutionalised children and caregivers), all colonised by Blastocystis spp.
Metadata file:
Comprehensive metadata for each sample, including cohort, age, sex, BMI, and HEI-2020 individual score.
- Table S1.
This table compares baseline characteristics and diet quality between the FACSA and PAVILA cohorts.
- Table S2.
Detailed comparison of Healthy Eating Index-2020 (HEI-2020) component scores between the two cohorts, highlighting differences in food group consumption and overall diet quality.
- Top 10 taxa by principal coordinates analysis (PCoA):
A list of the ten most representative bacterial genera associated with the principal coordinate axes that differentiate the FACSA and PAVILA cohorts. This analysis was based on Bray–Curtis dissimilarity matrices of Hellinger-transformed genus-level data. Taxa were identified using envfit projections with p < 0.1.
These supplementary files provide additional detail and transparency for the analyses performed, particularly regarding the dietary and microbiota differences between the two socio-demographically distinct populations.
