Base of cultural places and facilities (Basilic)

This geocoded database of cultural sites, places and facilities is designed and administered by the Department of Studies, Foresight, Statistics and Documentation of the Ministry of Culture. In particular, it supplies the permanent base of INSEE’s facilities and the Atlas Culture des territoires. It is carried out by aggregation of different sources: bases of the Directorate-General for Heritage and Architecture, the Directorate-General for Artistic Creation, the Directorate-General for Media and Cultural Industries, the General Delegation for Transmission, Territories and Cultural Democracy, the National Centre for Cinema and Moving Image, the National Book Centre, the National Centre for Circus, Street and Theatre Arts (Artcena), the Media Library for Heritage and Photography. Data downloaded daily from data.gouv.fr, cut on the territory of the Hauts-de-France region, and published by Géo2France.
