Whole genome sequencing of Clostridium perfringens from healthy and necrotic enteritis affected broiler chicken farms

We conducted whole genome sequencing of 27 Clostridium perfringens isolates recovered from both healthy and necrotic enteritis afflicted broiler chickens in Quebec province, Canada, to expand our knowledge about the genetic diversity and virulence traits of this pathogen.
