Anonymized Summary-Level Dataset for Weighted Composite GA–DES Optimization and Statistical Assessment in Aerospace Assembly Systems

This repository contains anonymized, non-confidential, summary-level computational data and simulation-derived results supporting the study “An Integrated Genetic Algorithm–Discrete-Event Simulation Framework for Weighted Composite Optimization and Decision Support in Aerospace Assembly Systems.” The deposited materials include genetic-algorithm configuration data, chromosome encoding, the reported baseline-normalized weighted composite objective, discrete-event simulation summary results, demand-perturbation robustness scenarios, and statistical assessment results. The repository also includes a non-proprietary MATLAB reference implementation of the genetic algorithm, a code-only discrete-event simulation abstraction, and the statistical assessment procedure. The reference code mirrors the public mathematical and algorithmic structure reported in the revised manuscript but is not the proprietary industrial source code or the original SimEvents model used in the case study. The underlying industrial operational data, proprietary person-level processing-time records, detailed SimEvents model files, company-sensitive process parameters, exact random-number configuration, and individual row-level observations from the simulation replications are not publicly available because of confidentiality and industrial intellectual-property restrictions. The deposited materials are provided to support methodological transparency, inspection of the reported summary results, and partial reconstruction of the computational workflow. Exact reproduction of the industrial implementation or direct transferability to other manufacturing systems is not claimed.
