This thesis develops a new class of miniature lenses for imaging systems that are tiny, affordable, and highly precise. Using a special 3D printing technique combined with soft molding, the lenses can capture images at a very fine level—showing details smaller than a single cell. These lenses are small enough to fit into portable medical devices but still deliver high-quality images. The method allows for fast and low-cost production. This technology makes advanced medical imaging more accessible and could be used in areas like cancer research, IVF, brain studies, and field-based health diagnostics.
