National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) - Window Arrestee Segment

This segment of NIBRS data functions as a partial report, containing the same variables as the standard arrestee segment while also including additional data on up to ten offenses committed during the incident. Unlike the standard arrestee segment, which is linked to other segments such as offense and victim data, the window arrestee segment stands alone, as it does not have corresponding incident-level records. The inclusion of offense variables helps compensate for the absence of related segments, providing limited contextual information about the nature of the crimes associated with the arrest.
