This dataset is a commonly used benchmark dataset in the field of causal inference for evaluating treatment effect estimation algorithms. It was mainly used for performance comparison with existing academic methods in the project titled "Research on Key Technologies of Cross-media Causal Reasoning and Decision-making" (Project No. 2021ZD0111700) to evaluate the superiority of the new causal inference algorithm developed in this project. This is a semi-synthetic dataset, whose original data comes from an earlier observational study, but the dataset itself does not represent a specific observation time. The processing and usage period of the dataset is the project implementation cycle, from December 2021 to November 2024. This dataset is a semi-synthetic version generated through specific processing of the observational study data from the Infant Health and Development Program (IHDP), and it contains a total of 100 experimental replication files.
