Protective role of jaranol and 12,13-DiHOME in cardiac remodeling

To gain mechanistic insights into the protective effects of jaranol and 12,13-DiHOME on cardiac remodeling, a whole transcriptomic analysis of the heart was performed using RNA-seq.20 samples. There are 4 groups: Vehicle group, mice were treated with saline. MODEL group, cardiac remodeling was induced by transverse aortic constriction (TAC). TAC+Jaranol group, the TAC was performed in mice and subcutaneously treated with jaranol (50mg/kg,0.3mL/mice per day) for 4 weeks. TAC+12,13-DiHOME group, TAC was performed in mice and subcutaneously treated with 12,13-DiHOME (10 ug/kg/every other day administered orally by gavage) for 4 weeks. Hearts were isolated and RNA sequencing.
