Research hypothesis:
Icariin ameliorates cisplatin-induced premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) by inhibiting ferroptosis in human ovarian granulosa cells (KGN) via activation of the Nrf2/GPX4 signaling pathway.

Significant findings:

Icariin (20 µM) reversed all these effects in a dose‑dependent manner.
The protective effects of icariin were abolished by the Nrf2 inhibitor ML385, confirming pathway dependence.
