De novo transcriptome assembly of the freshwater copepod Cyclops abyssorum tatricus

An assembled transcriptome is required to provide a suitable basis for use as a tool in physiological research. To address this gap, we assembled a de novo transcriptome of Cyclops abyssorum tatricus by merging Pacific Bioscience long reads from two alpine lakes, into a de novo transcriptome. This de novo transcriptome will allow us to track transcriptomic changes over time and space.
