Genomic sequencing of homo sapiens osteosarcoma

Osteosarcoma/OS is the commonest bone malignancy without reliable therapeutic target. Detection of genetic alterations via high throughput approach would explore potential therapeutic target(s) of osteosarcomas. To reach that goal, 24 patients's fresh OS specimens were collected for cancer-targeted next generation sequencing/NGS, and the results obtained have been subjected to bioinformatic analysis and downstream validation.
