Genomic and Transcriptomic Profiling of Radioresistant Prostate and Head and Neck Cancers

We developed four radioresistant models of prostate (22Rv1 and DU145) and head and neck cancer (FaDu and HK1) by subjecting their wild-type parental cell lines to fractionated 90 Gy irradiation, mimicking the fractionated radiotherapy (RT) protocols commonly used in the clinic. Whole exome and transcriptome sequencing were performed on both the radioresistant and wild-type models to comprehensively investigate the intrinsic factors associated with cancer radioresistance.
