To investigate genome-wide gene expression changes induced by an NMDA receptor positive allosteric modulator in neuronal cultures using next-generation sequencing Neuronal mRNA profiles of 18-day-in-vitro old wild type rat hippocampal treated with either NMDA receptor positive allosteric modulator or vehicle were generated by deep sequencing, in quadruplicate, using Illumina GAIIx.
