UMIST

The Sheffield (formerly UMIST) Face Database consists of 564 images from 20 individuals with mixed races, genders and appearances. Each individual is shown in a series of poses ranging from profile to frontal views—each person’s images are stored in a separate directory labeled 1a, 1b, … 1t, and the images are numbered consecutively at capture. All files are in PGM format, with approximate dimensions of 220 × 220 pixels and 256-level grayscale.
