Data set

The data used in the paper is a spreadsheet which includes the effect sizes, means, and measures of variance for the effects of inter and intra specific interactions on herbivorous insects, extracted from previously published research. Also included are information about the experimental methods and the conditions of the experiments, what type of fitness metric was used and the diet breadth and feeding guilds of the insects involved, where these were known. Most of this data was extracted from graphs using web plot digitizer.
