Role of individualized homoeopathic medicines in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease in elderly: a single-arm quasi-experimental study

We report a prospective single-arm clinical study evaluating individualized homeopathic medicines (IHMs) in drug-naïve older adults with Parkinson’s disease. Over a 3-month follow-up, participants demonstrated clinically meaningful and statistically significant improvements in motor function, health-related quality of life, and patient-prioritized symptoms, with consistent findings across longitudinal mixed-effects models, Bayesian analyses, causal inference methods, machine learning approaches, and multiple sensitivity analyses. Building upon our previously published preliminary case series, this study provides rigorous proof-of-concept evidence supporting the feasibility and potential clinical relevance of IHMs and establishes a strong rationale for adequately powered randomized controlled trials (RCTs)
