Transcriptome Data metagenome

This project employs transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the salinity stress response in the marine diatom Skeletonema. Diatoms are crucial primary producers in marine ecosystems, and their habitats often experience salinity fluctuations due to freshwater input and evaporation. Understanding their acclimation to osmotic stress is essential for predicting ecological dynamics.Our study performed a multi-omics analysis on samples from a gradient of salinity stress conditions. This dataset is designed to identify key differentially expressed genes, crucial pathways, and regulatory networks involved in osmoregulation, ion transport, signal transduction, and antioxidant defense.This resource provides valuable insights into the environmental adaptation strategies of diatoms and establishes a solid foundation for further research into their stress biology and potential biotechnological applications.
