Replication Data and Code for Impact of Digital Transformation on Profitability and Risk Taking: Evidence from Indonesian Commercial Banks for the Period 2019–2025

This record provides the replication materials for the article “Impact of Digital Transformation on Profitability and Risk Taking: Evidence from Indonesian Commercial Banks for the Period 2019–2025.” It contains the bank-year dataset used in the empirical analysis, the R script used to reproduce the data validation, descriptive statistics, panel-model selection and diagnostics, and main regression estimates, as well as expected replication results and a brief README. The study covers 45 Indonesian commercial banks during 2019–2025. Digital transformation is measured using a 20-item disclosure-based Digital Maturity Index (DMI20). The empirical analysis examines bank profitability, risk-taking, and stability using ROA, ROE, NIM/NOM, NPL/NPF, LDR/FDR, LLP ratio, and bank Z-score, together with bank-specific and macroeconomic control variables. The underlying information is derived from publicly available annual reports, financial statements, and official regulatory and statistical sources cited in the associated article.
