Pressure data is in kPa, by hand region and for each subject. Values were obtained by the mean of the peak pressure at each impulse (hand contact to propel the wheelchair) in each segment.
The data was collected for both hands with Tekscan Grip Versatek Wireless System at 50Hz. The sensors were attached to a thin textile glove (helanca glove).
Only male, adults (18 to 29 years old) and able bodied subjects performed the activities. No one reported MSDs symptoms up to 12 months prior the experiment.
