PRIORITY DIRECTIONS OF POVERTY REDUCTION POLICY IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract: This article analyzes the priority directions of poverty reduction policy in Uzbekistan, its theoretical and methodological foundations, and practical outcomes. The study highlights state policies aimed at reducing poverty, ensuring employment, supporting entrepreneurship, improving the social protection system, and the importance of education and vocational training programs. Furthermore, the article evaluates ongoing institutional reforms, the neighborhood-based (“mahalla”) working system, and the effectiveness of social services in reducing poverty. Scientific and practical recommendations are developed to further improve poverty reduction policies in Uzbekistan.
