A Study for Discovering Biomarker Candidates of Idiopathic Parkinson's Disease - A Pilot Study

This study identified a mRNA biomarker candidate of idopathic Parkinson's disease by using blood RNA-Seq. The cases were gene expression profiling of blood samples in Parkinson's disease patients without dementia. The controls were gene expression profiling of blood samples in those who do not have a family history of movement disorder.
