The Tasmanian Cancer Registry (TCR) is responsible for collecting, collating and reporting incidence of all malignant neoplasms in the Tasmanian population. Primary sources of information include pathology laboratories, hospitals, radiotherapy departments, the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages and other supplementary sources such as medical specialists. The TCR is operated by the Menzies Institute for Medical Research, University of Tasmania.
