File name Description Fields droughtScore.csv A Comma Separated Values (CSV) file for display in a spreadsheet (e.g., Excel) or database. This file consists of records of census 2020 block groups for Massachusetts with attributes describing drought scoring values, drought region, county, and major drainage basin. GEOID: Census block group geographic identifier DroughtScore: Number of months in drought weighted (multiplied) by severity of those droughts AnnFreqWeight: DroughtScore divided by 12 to convert to an annualized value CLIMpctilDrought: Percentile of AnnFreqWeight DroughtRegion: Massachusets drought region County: Massachusetts county Basin: Major drainage basin droughtScoreSHP.zip A zipped shapefile for display in a GIS.
