RNAseq of gill tissue from WSSV infected and healthy Penaeus vannamei shrimp

The white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) is a serious pathogen to shrimp causing heavy losses to farmers. Documentation of dynamic host-pathogen interactions during the course of infection would greatly improve our knowledge in developing control measures. Therefore RNAseq data was generated on WSSV infected juvenile P. vannamei collected at different times post-infection using gill tissues. The study is intended to find changes in gene expressions over time between infected and healthy shrimp.
