资源简介:
This study was designed to investigate the effects of two animal betacoronaviruses—Mouse Hepatitis Virus (MHV) and rat Sialodacryoadenitis Virus (SDAV) on a mixed primary culture of microglia and astrocytes in vitro, with a particular focus on analysing the expression levels of cytokines secreted in response to infection. MHV strain JHM (MHV-JHM) is neuropathogenic, and SDAV possesses high zoonotic and neurotropic potential. To date, SDAV research has not considered the importance of CNS infections. Few publications confirmed the possibility of brain infection by SDAV, but no molecular pathway has been researched yet. MHV-JHM, on the other hand, is a well-known reference model for neuropathogenic diseases. To study SDAV infection in glial cells and to compare it to MHV-JHM infection, flow cytometry, ELISA, and a high-throughput Luminex ProcartaPlex immunopanel for 48 cytokines and chemokines were utilised.Data deposited in the repository were saved in .xls and .csv format for numerical data. Uploaded folders contain raw data obtained via Luminex xMAP technology (Cytokine and chemokine analysis), Cytoflex LX cytometer (ROS analysis, cell apoptosis), BioTek Synergy H1 plate reader (ELISA assay).
