The “Institute of Earthquake Technologies” within Erzincan Binali Yildirim University - Türkiye is established in July 26, 2022, by approval of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkiye. Since then, the Institute of Earthquake Technologies (IET) is making the best for the employment of both academic and research staff along with the purchase of necessary equipment for (i) permanent strong and weak ground motion stations, and (ii) permanent rapid-response stations strong ground motion sensors located at populated areas around the Erzincan province. It is planned to complete 10 (i) and 10 (ii) stations by the end of 2025.
