Study on the Effect of Astragalus Polysaccharides in the Prevention and Treatment of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver

On the basis of the clear role of Astraglus polysaccharides (APS) in the prevention of obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD) induced by high-fat diet, the potential effector genes of APS are screened by means of transcriptional techniques. 24 male C57bl/6J mice were randomly divided into 3 groups including control group (Con), high-fat-diet group (HFD) and high-fat-diet with APS treatment group (APS). All animals were fed with corresponding diet for consecutive 12 weeks during which their body weight was measured weekly. According to the results of liver HE staining and TG detection, 3 liver samples of each group were detected by transcriptional techniques.
