Ice patches were cored with a 8 cm hand-operated ice drill. Distinct bands of caribou fecal matter were measured (core depth) and collected using clean instruments. Each band was dated by accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). The dataset includes core depths and AMS dates for 10 cores extracted from 3 ice patches.
