Powering Transformation for Planet and People Discussion Paper

At the World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) 2026, thought-leaders from the library field and beyond were invited to discuss how libraries can power transformation in key areas. In this session, a consistent message emerged: libraries are already equipped with an important tool for transformation: their role as trusted providers of knowledge and their close connection to communities.
