Lipidome of the Geyser Andernach obtained via high-resolution mass spectrometry

This dataset contains lipidomic data from subsurface water samples collected at the cold-water Geyser Andernach in the Middle Rhine Valley (Germany). Lipid extracts were yielded from biomass collected on glass fiber (GF) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filters. The dataset comprises mass spectrometry data obtained using two analytical workflows: UHPLC–APCI–QTOF–MS² analyses following chromatographic separation according to Becker et al. (2013). UHPLC–ESI–timsTOF–MS² analyses, including measurements using chromatographic separation protocols based on Wörmer et al. (2013) and Hopmans et al. (2021).
