In this short article, we will try to analyse the theme of the relationship which - according to Pier Paolo Pasolini - should have nourished the present/past dialectic (as I will show later, listed in such an inverted sequence), connecting it with thought of two other Marxist thinkers such as Antonio Gramsci and Walter Benjamin.
