Dengue fever remains a major public health concern in Bangladesh, particularly in urban and semi-urban areas where seasonal outbreaks are common. Early and accurate diagnosis is critical for effective patient management and outbreak control. However, challenges such as non-specific early symptoms and limited access to rapid diagnostic tools often delay treatment. To support research into improved diagnostic models and clinical decision-making, this dataset provides a comprehensive collection of hematological and clinical parameters from patients presenting with dengue-like symptoms in various healthcare settings across Bangladesh.
Clinical and Hematological Parameters Included:
Age : Patient's age in years
Sex : Gender of the patient (Male/Female)
Hemoglobin (g/dL) : Concentration of hemoglobin in the blood
WBC Count (x10³/µL) : Total white blood cell count
Neutrophils (%) : Percentage of neutrophils in WBC differential count
Lymphocytes (%) : Percentage of lymphocytes in WBC differential count
Monocytes (%) : Percentage of monocytes in WBC differential count
Eosinophils (%) : Percentage of eosinophils in WBC differential count
RBC Count (x10⁶/µL) : Total red blood cell count
