PDNPA Boundary

Accuracy and limitations The National Park boundary is a digital representation of the designated boundary of the Peak District National Park. The original boundary was defined using historical Ordnance Survey mapping and designation documentation rather than modern digital survey data. The current GIS boundary has been interpreted from those source materials and should therefore be considered an indicative representation of the National Park extent. The boundary is suitable for general mapping, analysis and display purposes but should not be relied upon as a definitive legal boundary at individual property or land parcel level. Where precise boundary determination is required, reference should be made to the original designation documentation and authoritative mapping sources.
