Provenance and the cultural ratchet – derived data (no code)

This deposit contains a de-identified, derived dataset used in ‘Provenance and the cultural ratchet: signalling, archives, and cumulative reuse’. Each row corresponds to a parent essay in a matched pair (same publication; within-month, ±7-day matching where available; length-bin matched where feasible). Variables include publication ID, pair ID, hashed parent ID, parent date, length bin, provenance score P, strong/weak indicator, Δreuse in 90 days (exposure-adjusted where necessary), and within-month match flag. A plain-English README explains how to verify the reported estimates in Excel/Google Sheets. No raw pages or full texts are redistributed.
