A Community vulnerability assessment to flood hazard in the U.S. Virgin Islands

This report supports the first goal of the USVI’s current draft Hazard Mitigation and Resilience Plan (USVI Hazard Mitigation and Resilience Plan, 2024, Ch. 7) to “Manage natural hazard risk by applying risk reduction (mitigation) policies to prevent new risk, reduce existing risk, and adapt to the future risk associated with climate change by strengthening infrastructure, critical facilities, and lifelines.” It presents background, methodology, findings, and map products from a community vulnerability assessment conducted for estates within the USVI.
