The data in this study consist of two components: (1) a measurement of digital literacy levels before and after the implementation of the Introduction to Computer Science curriculum, involving 75 undergraduate students from a comprehensive university in China. The measurement instrument was developed based on the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens 2.2; and (2) focus group interview transcripts from 10 students selected from the same sample, aimed at exploring their concrete experiences of developing digital literacy within the curriculum.
