The aims of the present study were to determine the abundance of Dermacentor reticulatus and Ixodes ricinus in a peri-urban park in northern Italy, describe the seasonal activity of D. reticulatus and examine the correlation between tick occurrence and environmental factors. Ticks were collected monthly from April 2015 to May 2016 using both dragging and flagging techniques.
