Broussonetia papyrifera is a kind of economical tree species with higher comprehensive efficiency, which can be used as an excellent heavy metal adsorbent. However, the mechanism of Cd resistance of B. papyrifera from the perspective of molecular ecology is not mature enough. In order to elucidate the molecular regulation mechanism and key genes of B. papyrifera under Cd stress conditions. We performed transcriptome sequencing and data analysis on the leaf tissue of B. papyrifera exposed to Cd based on the Illumina Hiseq-PE150 platform.Our research would provide genomic resources for genetic analysis of B. papyrifera; what's more, it could provide resources and basis for the screening of B. papyrifera resistance genes, as well as further genetic engineering studies and mine rehabilitation.
