资源简介:
Applying low risk herbicides on turfgrasses to control weeds and maintain quality is common practice in areas under a cosmetic pesticide ban or reduced herbicide framework. This study compared liquid, soluble granular, and dry formulations of a well known commercially recognized low-risk herbicide, Fiesta, at varying rates to assess the impacts on turfgrass quality and safety following application. Quality of turfgrass was analyzed using point-quadrat counts, visual ratings, and NDVI readings throughout the experiment. The different formulations of Fiesta did not cause any significant turfgrass loss in the experiment. Some phytotoxicity was observed with all the Fiesta products post-application. Any existing black medic weed populations in the treated plots were significantly reduced by all products.
