Paediatric rheumatological emergencies: A retrospective cohort study from a tertiary care centre in India

This dataset originates from a retrospective cohort study conducted in a tertiary care center, focusing on pediatric patients who presented with life-threatening or severe emergencies and were subsequently diagnosed with rheumatological diseases. The data include demographic characteristics, clinical presentation, laboratory parameters, emergency management, and outcomes. The primary aim of this research is to highlight the spectrum, challenges, and outcomes of pediatric rheumatology emergencies such as macrophage activation syndrome, pulmonary-renal syndrome, central nervous system vasculitis, mesenteric vasculitis, and cardiac tamponade. The dataset provides valuable insights into early recognition and management of these rare but critical presentations.
