The purpose of this study was to investigate genome-wide DNA methylation differences in testicular tissue of Yili geese with high and low sperm motility, and to provide a theoretical reference for in-depth analysis of the molecular mechanism of the difference in sperm motility of Yili geese in order to screen out the differentially methylated genes (DMGs) that affect the sperm motility of Yili geese. The whole genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) technology was used to sequence the testes of Yili geese with high sperm motility and low sperm motility, analyze the whole genome DNA methylation mode of testes, and screen the differentially methylatedregion regions (DMRs) and differentially methylated genes.
