To investigate the effect of hyperactivation of Notch signaling in hepatocytes, an immortalized human hepatocyte cell line THLE-2 was stably transduced with control vector or plasmid harborning intracellular domain of NOTCH1 (NICD1) and the transcriptomic profiles were analyzed by RNA-seq. Overall design: Immortalized human hepatocyte cell line THLE-2 cells were transduced with retrovirus vector containing empty vector or NICD1 plasmid. The mRNA profiles from NICD1-overexpressed THLE2 cell line were generated by deep sequencing using Illumina NextSeq 500. The results were compared between empty vector and NICD1-overexpressed cells.
