D-Score Validation Dataset: NEON 10-Site Biodiversity Assessment (Run 7, 2026-04-11)

Validation data and pipeline code for the D-Score composite biodiversity index, accompanying the Methods in Ecology and Evolution manuscript "D-Score: A composite, open-data biodiversity index validated across a multi-biome gradient using NEON sites." The deposit contains per-site component values (T, P, F, S, D) for 10 NEON sites, rarefaction parameters, a sensitivity analysis across the rarefaction exponent z = 0.20-0.40, and the power-law rarefaction correction code (z = 0.30 default).
