Bakanae disease (BD) is caused by a seed-borne fungal pathogen, Fusarium fujikuroi, and has become a serious threat in almost all rice cultivation regions worldwide. In this study, QTL mapping was performed with F2 and F3 plants derived from a cross between a resistant Korean japonica variety, Samgwang, and a susceptible Korean japonica variety, Junam.
