资源简介:
Opioid use and HIV-1 infection a impact immune function independently, but their impact on the immune system together is unknown. To understand the impact of opioids on immune function in HIV-1 infected individuals we used DOGMA-seq to examine the transcriptome, chromatin accessibility, and surface protein expression in HIV-1-infected individuals undergoing opioid addiction treatment. 12 individuals were sampled at time 0 and after 3 months of treatment with an opioid replacement therapy consisting of either methadone, bueprenoropine with naloxone, or naltrexone. Both PBMC and negative selection isolated CD4 + T cells were profiled using DOMGA-seq with the Biolegend TotalSeq™-A Human Universal Cocktail, V1.0.
