Joint Post Distribution Monitoring - 2023

The 2023 Joint Post Distribution Monitoring dataset documents a collaborative effort between UNHCR and WFP in South Sudan. Conducted from January 13 to January 17, 2024, the JPDM exercise assessed the needs of refugees across eight settlements to improve the targeting and prioritization of both food and non-food assistance. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews from 1,295 refugee households, utilizing a stratified random sampling method. The dataset includes various data files such as anonymized household survey results and terms of reference, ensuring the data is cleaned and anonymized to protect privacy. Geographically, the data covers multiple locations, including Gorom, Jam Jang, Maban, and Yambio, encompassing both refugee and internally displaced person populations.
