RNA-seq dataset for Targeting PBK to induce Nrf2/ROS mediated ferroptosis and suppress the progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.

Six-eight weeks female C57BL/6 mice (RRID: MGI:2159769) were used for 4-Nitroquinoline N-oxide (4-NQO, Sigma) treatment. Mice received drinking water with 4-NQO (100 mg/ml) for 16 weeks, followed by normal water for another 12 weeks. Mice that died before the study's conclusion were excluded. At the last week, mice were euthanized, and the esophagus was examined for macroscopic lesions. Tumor and normal tissue samples were collected for RNA-seq, with differentially expressed genes listed in Differentially expressed genes.To explore the underlying mechanisms of PBK on ESCC development, we first performed RNA-seq analysis with two PBK shRNAs transfected and non-specific transfected KYSE150 cells.
