Patostreaming and pathological content in social media: a netnographic database from qualitative research (2024-2025) - research data

The database comprises a corpus of data collected for the doctoral project “Transmission of Social Pathologies into the Media: Pathological Content and Patostreaming as New Communication Practices”, conducted at the Doctoral School in the Social Sciences at the Jagiellonian University. It includes analytical notes forming a research and netnographic diary, as well as visual and audiovisual data (screenshots, graphic files, and videos) obtained during observations carried out within social media environments such as TikTok, X, Instagram, and Facebook. The data were collected between 30 December 2024 and 31 July 2025 as part of a qualitative analysis based on constructivist grounded theory and a netnographic approach.
