THE ROLE OF DYSHORMONAL DISORDERS OF CENTRAL ORIGIN ON THE MAMMARY GLAND
收藏资源简介:
Dyshormonal disorders of central origin, primarily stemming from hypothalamic-pituitary axis dysregulation, significantly influence mammary gland pathology by disrupting hormonal balance, leading to conditions such as fibrocystic mastopathy and increased breast cancer risk. This literature review synthesizes evidence on how central disruptions, including hyperprolactinemia, altered gonadotropin secretion (FSH/LH), and estrogen-progesterone imbalances, promote proliferative changes in breast tissue. Methods involved systematic database searches for studies on central dyshormonal mechanisms in breast diseases. Results highlight elevated prolactin and gonadotropins as key drivers of mastopathy, with thyroid and adrenal comorbidities exacerbating effects. Discussion addresses clinical implications, emphasizing integrated therapies targeting central regulation to mitigate risks. Overall, recognizing these central origins could improve prevention and management of mammary gland disorders.
