Pools of 5 animals of different pig breeds where sequenced in mate pairs using the Nextera protocol (mean insert size of 7kb) in order to detect structural variations in pigs. In total, seven breeds were studied. Five commercial breeds : Large White, Piétrain, Landrace, Duroc et Meishan, a Creole breed andl wild boars. In total 520M paired reads were produced.
